In order to build up our ambulance crews for our Emergency Medical Assistance (112) department we are looking for Emergency Response Ambulance Crew who are holders of the EMA badge.

Together with your crew partner you must be able to accurately assess life-threatening situations and provide the necessary care pending the arrival of a MUG.
You help the victims of an accident or other crisis situation but must also try to keep an eye on other persons who may be involved.
You are responsible for bring the emergency patient safely to the closest hospital.
The maintenance of the ambulance station and the vehicle is also part of your job, as well as ensuring that the necessary supplies and equipment can be quickly located during an intervention.
You are expected to perform some light administrative duties and to help in the casualty unit.
You are responsible for providing a service that has to be available 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
You must be a holder of the EMA badge issued by the Federal Government Service for Public Health.
You are keen to develop your professional knowledge and keep it up to date.
You are able to take the initiative
You can keep your feelings in check and adopt a positive attitude
You can communicate professionally with the victim, the team and the services concerned both orally and in writing.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team is easy for you.
You can submit a clean certificate of good moral conduct, type 2.
You hold a class B driving licence with medical inspection and have at least two years of driving experience.
You are willing to work on public holidays and in the weekends.

Ambuce is an established name for patient transport and repatriation both in Belgium and abroad. Our constant growth means that we are always on the lookout for volunteers. As our services must be provided 24 hours a day, every day in the week, we can always make use of the services of volunteer workers. The volunteers may always indicate their availability in advance to our planning service. Depending on the demand they can be put to work in various departments. In return they receive a fixed amount in expenses (see Belgian law).
